Boeing B-17

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was a heavy bomber of the USAAF in WWII. It was the best known bomber of the USAAF. It was known for taking heavy damage and still returning from missions. The designation "Flying Fortress" comes from a cartoon from the early ´40s.
