The Handley Page Halifax, developed by the Handley Page Aircraft Company, was the third four engined heavy bomber of the Royal Air Force, next to the AVRO Lancaster and the Short Sterling. From 1940 to 1946 over 6.000 planes, in different versions were produced and used until 1952.
