Short Stirling

The Short Stirling, developed by the firm Short Brothers, was the third four engined heavy bomber of the RAF in the Second World War along side the Avro Lancaster and the Handley Page Halifax. From 1940 until 1946, 2.380 planes were produced in different versions.
