The Bf 109 crashed on November 27th in the district of Pödinghausen in the city of Enger after a dog fight. The pilot was able to bailout and landed near the crash site. Eyewitnesses at the time were able to talk with him. According to them, he was apparently stationed at an airbase in Rheine.
